¿Qué tranza mara?
We had transfers this last week on thursday, and they put me with the 4th other native spanish speaking Elder in our mission. I guess God must want me to have good spanish because its lucky to even be able to go with ONE of the hispanic Elders. It has been a big blessing on my mission to really get to know where other people come from and the cultures they grow up in.
Starting my last transfer of my mission here in Royal City has been incredible, this place is so incredible and I wish I could have the priviledge to stay for longer than just six weeks. Royal City was settled mainly by members of the church years back, all of which traveled out here to farm because of the good soil. The members here are incredibly honed in on missionary work, and I have never been in any wards like this that treat the missionaries as good as they do here. We are SPOILED!! We get fed every day of every week, and members will go and teach our friends for us! The bishop went and put one of our friends on date for baptism for crying out loud!
I don´t have words to describe how wonderful it is here, and how awesome my companion Elder Aguilar is. Send prayers out for our friend Angel, he is 10 years old and is preparing to get baptized on the 16th of this month! He needs a lot of help to be prepared for that day.
A scripture from my studies this morning…
2 Nephi 26´33
For none of these iniquities come of the Lord; for he doeth that which is good among the children of men; and he doeth nothing save it be plain unto the children of men; and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.
Love you all! Have a great week!
