Buen dia mi gente

Over these last few weeks we´ve been giving it our all, which has led to much opposition in the work and life in general. I wont go into much detail because it would take quite a long time to explain our situation right now, but rest assured everything is good and we are giving it our best here in Othello.

This week we cleaned out a Hoarders house 😬, and it was one of the most awful places I’ve been in. This poor lady was going to get evicted if she didn’t get it cleaned up ASAP,  so we had to jump in and help, but she kept asking to go through the trash bags of JUNK that we were filling up before we got rid of them, so we had to have one missionary distract her while the other five of us took everything we possibly could from her home and to a dumpster far away 😭 we will be going back tomorrow so wish us luck.

Me and my companion Elder Furniss have been getting along incredibly well, we are two completely different people, and we’ve pretty much just accepted that, and decided to be best friends anyways. Every single Hispanic person we meet, he calls himself “El Queso Grande”, claiming it is easier to pronounce for the people who don’t speak any english, which is true. I get a kick out of it. This is the first time in my mission that I have had the privilege to serve with somebody that I started my mission with, which surprised me because there are many missionaries in the generation that I came out with, and not until the final few transfers of my mission have I been with one of them.

This morning, I´ve been thinking a lot about the promise from Christ that if we seek, we shall find. This week I had a few questions, specifically one that I had been trying to find an answer to, and it wasn’t until this morning, when I was prayerfully reading the book of mormon, and the bible together, that my mind was enlightened, and I found the answer to the question that I had. The question I had probably doesn´t matter to any of you, but the answer, was Christ. I know that if we search the scriptures prayerfully with true intent that we will find answers to our deepest questions, and often times, if not all the time, Christ is the answer.

I hope you guys have an amazing week
