Hey guys,
Sorry its been a while since the last time I wrote, we have just been pretty focused on the work we’ve got going on here in Moses Lake. We have a baptism coming up this Saturday for our friend Delilah, she is awesome and very excited to take this step in her life to start on the path that leads back to our heavenly parents.
We cover the YSA ward here as well, and it has been a blast getting to know all of the kids our age here, we often times have some of them coming out with us to teach lessons and find new people. It gives us something a little extra to do on top of Moses Lake 2nd ward which at times can feel a bit slow.
With all of the ICE deportation going on right now, a lot of the Hispanics have kind of gone into lockdown, so it has been hard to meet and talk to new people recently. We can definitely feel that a lot of people that we talk to are on the edge.
We had the opportunity to climb up into the temple spire this week for a little service project. Freddy Alva, a member of second ward is a temple worker in the maintenance side of things, so we helped him carry some boxes up to the storage room in the temple, and from there he let us climb all the way up to the top, it was pretty awesome because even up at the very top you can feel the spirit bien fuertemente.
I have never been happier in my whole life than on my mission, I wish that it would stop going by so dang fast, it feels like all the time is slipping away, It is something I know ill never get back so we are making the most of it! We have transfers coming up next week already, I should finally be sticking around this time, and I’m looking forward to possibly spending another transfer here.
Mormon 9:20 – And the reason why he ceaseth to do miracles among the children of men is because that they dwindle in unbelief, and depart from the right way, and know not the God in whom they should trust.
I know that miracles will only happen in our lives if we truly believe in God, on my mission, I have learned to truly believe in God, and therefore have been able to see some pretty incredible things happen. I know that he is real, and always ready to help us!
