¡Buen día a todos! ¡Espero se encuentren muy bien!

Today is my last day in Yakima! I’ve been assigned to go up north to Cashmere, which is in between Leavenworth and Wenatchee. And I will be training a different missionary up there named Elder Petrich.

I sure have learned a lot over my last few months here in Yakima, and I’m so grateful to have served in the area I did. We made so many new friendships that will last lifetimes.

One of the biggest things I learned this transfer that I think everyone needs to apply to their lives, is CAREFULLY AND PATIENTLY LISTENING. People love and appreciate you when you are a good listener, especially because sometimes people don’t have anyone to talk/vent to. Neither of you will remember much of what was said in the conversation, but you will remember how you felt. If we can leave a positive impact/feeling in someones life, this truly can make all the difference.

My challenge for you all this week is simply to start listening a little more carefully, even if the other person can talk for hours and hours, just listen.

¡Les quiero muchisimo! ¡Vayan con Dios!
