Whats up everyone!
I hope you all had a superb week! I know I did…

This week was super interesting, It was a really busy one for sure. Last thursday we had Zone Conference, which was awesome, it went extra long for some reason. President Welch spoke for a while, they are getting a bit sad to be leaving this July. I will be super sad to see them go because they have been like second parents to me.

We also had a CRAZY Valentine’s Day dinner/party at the church last week. Tons of people showed up, and we had some Tostadas and Ceviche. All the missionaries then went crazy on the dance floor. We were sweating like mad after YMCA, it was so awesome haha.

Ah yes, the psycho puppies…I’m sure that’s what you’re still reading for…well let me tell you what happened…

Me and my companion decided to go by our friend Ken. Now, Ken has 6 little dogs…and not just any 6 little dogs…The most terrible, evil, sent from los fuegos del infierno dogs. We knock the door, and all 6 start barking like mad. He lets us in the house, and they all swarm us like crazy, all barking at 1000 decibels. He then invites us to sit down on the poop and pee COVERED couch. We sit. Eventually the dogs quit their barking, but they are still in the room with us doing all sorts of things. Two dogs are over on the other couch trying to make babies, one dog is trying to “claim his territory” on my companions bag, and guess what, another one of them is all over my companions leg, while another one just peed on the cushion in between us, then walked all over, and then started to climb all over me. All of this happening, whilst we are trying to teach the Plan of Salvation. So, if you ever wonder what missionary work is like, this is it.

We had lots of fun this week, and we found lots of awesome people. We had a few member present lessons with our investigator Fabian, he is super awesome and very curious about our church. He has been coming to church every Sunday, reading and studying in the Book of Mormon and The Bible, and he’s even coming to all of the English Classes at the church as well. I’m hoping he will continue to progress, and eventually choose to be baptized.

Overall, it was quite a fun week! Everything is coming along quite well, Spanish has become a lot more fun and easy recently as well. There has been lots of improvement this transfer, because I cannot rely on a more experienced Elder for help with Spanish, so I have to lead out all of the lessons and put a lot of trust in God to help me say what needs to be said. I’ve found that when I rely more in God during lessons, I am able to speak incredibly well, and am able to understand just about everything being said, and it’s awesome.

As we rely on God’s strength, more than we rely on our own, the otherwise impossible, becomes possible. I’m serious, I’ve seen it. If life’s got you tangled up in a knot, your strength alone can’t and won’t save you. But putting our little bit of faith in God and his strength, everything tends to go a lot smoother.

I love you all VERY MUCH! And I miss you all TONS! Have a KILLER WEEK!
GO GET EM!
