Hey Everyone!
So, we have one week left here at the CCM! Me and all my buddies headed to Washington will be out of here next friday morning. I can’t even begin to express how excited I am to get started in the field.
This last week was amazing! Our knowledge of the Gospel is increasing exponentially, as well as our Spanish skills. I am so lucky to be able to hold a MEANINFUL conversation, to pray, and to bear a strong testimony in 100% Spanish. The gift of tongues is genuinely real, I know because I didn’t know or speak a smidge of spanish before my mission, and already I am sitting comfortably at an intermediate level. The Sisters in our district dressed as some of the Elders in our district for Halloween and it was HILARIOUS! Today is The Day Of The Dead, so hopefully we are able to sleep through the noise tonight.
My spiritual thought for the week is this…
Put your trust in God.. He is real.. and he will never cease to be there for you. He answers prayers always, and sometimes its not always in the way you would expect. But it is important to remember that we are on His timing. If you ever begin to question the truth of the gospel, simply walk outside and look around, this world and the life it contains, has beauty beyond measure. Look up into the sky at night and gain an understanding of just how small we truly are. Us humans are able to feel such strong emotions, and be more creative and capable than any other form of life we know of. And it is through the gift and power of God. Nothing is possible without him.
Love you all so much! The next email I send will be from Washington!
¡Hasta Luego!
